Community Connection Services Summer Flight Academy (CCSIFA) proudly presents our Youth International Airport Tour, collaborating with Southwest Regional Airport Staff, Fort Myers Police Department, TSA, and volunteer staff members.
The RSW airport staff will passionately engage with our youth group to share compelling insights about aviation and the international airport system. The Community Connection Services RSW Airport tour is scheduled for Thursday, July 18, 2024, from 10:00 am to 3:00 p.m., and lunch will be provided.
Providing guest speakers, the RSW staff will be actively participating in our International Airport Tour. Airport speakers will deliver a thorough airport overview, including its historical background, a comprehensive tour of the control tower, the Airport Security Division, the Fire Station, and other key areas. Our RSW Airport tour aims to expose our youth to exciting opportunities in aviation and provide a deeper understanding of airport operations.
For easy navigation, Regional Southwest International Airport is strategically located at 11000 Terminal Access Rd, Fort Myers, FL 33913, approximately sixteen miles southeast of downtown Fort Myers and is conveniently accessible from Interstate 75 (exit 128).
Transportation will be efficiently arranged from the Police Athletic League at 3280 Marion Street, Fort Myers, Florida 33916, or the STARS Complex at 2980 Edison Ave, Fort Myers, FL 33916. Buses will depart promptly at 9:15 a.m.
