“Fear not” is stated 365 times in the Bible. If you are a child of God, whom shall you fear? No matter what may be going on in the world, no matter what you may be going through; God is with you. God never leaves you or forsakes you. He even provides a way of escape from temptations in 1 Corinthians 10:13. With all the promises and power we have through Jesus, we can walk through life with Godfidence. 2 Timothy 1:7 states “For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.” Put that verse on your bathroom mirror, on the visor in your car, in your wallet, and on your desk. Read it as many times as you can throughout the day. The answers to all questions and needs are in the Word. Get into your word. Read it for yourself. It will transform you and renew your mind. It will put you on paths of righteousness. It will also help you to learn more about the God who loves you, who gave His life for yours and who wants to give you an abundant life.
Remember, God never promised us a rose garden and actually told us the opposite. John 15:18-19 (NLT) states “If the world hates you, remember that it hated me first. 19 The world would love you as one of its own if you belonged to it, but you are no longer part of the world. I chose you to come out of the world, so it hates you.” You will be hated, persecuted, scorned, betrayed and more heinous acts are guaranteed. However, God will give you the strength, power and courage to overcome it. I should not be a functioning individual in society, even more so, having an abundant life with what I have come through. Some of my siblings are not able to function in life due to our childhood shown by addictions, psychotic institutions, dying from overdose and more. I am witness to tell you with Jesus—all things are possible. I am only here by the grace of God and will forever share His goodness and love to others. You!! I want you to know today is a new day. God’s mercy and grace is new every day. Give your heart and life to God and see what He can do. You won’t regret it. Get to a Bible-believing church TODAY to get the support and encouragement you need to go through life. Time is short, Jesus is coming back and I want to celebrate at the feast in heaven with you.
